Tool #6-Wallwisher/Twitter

http://wallwisher.com/wall/lindas-loop Wallwisher was not too hard. It took me a while at first but it was not hard to use. I like it because you could use it to have book discussions or book reviews. You could post homework assignments or use it to work on story sequencing. You could get very creative with the backdrop.  I could use wallwisher by posting notes to my students about homework or having book studies. We could also do story arcs or story sequencing.  I would really like to use Twitter to help me with new teaching ideas or to help discover good educational apps for my IPad.

Tool #5-ABC Cloud and Bookr

The above is a book that I made with Bookr. I have never used Bookr before but I loved this feature. I'm a Special Ed teacher and I think this could possibly inspire my students to write more. It's so easy to use. I also used ABC Clouds. It was really easy to use also and I could use this with sight words or maybe even main ideas of stories. Here is the URL-- http://www.abcya.com/word_clouds.htm I really like these tools because they are user friendly.

Tool #4-Google Docs

I enjoyed learning about google docs.  I have never used it before and didn't really know anything about it.  I'm going to use the quiz maker but I have a lot of work to do and need to practice a lot more.  I'm hoping that maybe there will be some workshops offered to help us get better at using these tools.

Tool #3 1st embedded video

Tool #3-I just posted this video to my blog. I'm not very good at this yet so  I embedded another video on a separate post.  Regarding copyright laws, I never really thought about re-purposing a video.  That was an interesting concept to me and I never really thought about that.  Also, I never really thought that it should add value to society.  I wish more people would think about that.  Dashboard is great!!!How nice to know about this and that you can keep all the pictures in one spot.

Tool #2

I am working on Tool #2 at one of the help sessions. The person is extremely nice and very helpful. I'm so glad I came. I'm not sure I'll like posting much. Some of these sites are so good and kind of intimidating. I'm not sure mine will be so great. I visited this website and saw that she used IPADs in her classroom. http://classblogmeister.com/blog.php?blogger_id=1337 I'm hoping she can help me with some really good APPs.
